I'm just a bit curious about something that's been going recently. My question is: Are staff allowed to watch you in your house? From time to time I see floating health numbers, the occasional locked gralat message pops up without anyone touching it in my house. I know it isn't anyone of my friends or any staff members I know (or at least I think I don't know). They're usually not online when this occurs, so I assume it's just a random staff member I most likely am not associated with. I can understand if this is necessary to monitor players who have been known to cause trouble, or to hack/glitch. Yet, I am not a hacker nor glitcher and I do not harass other players online. So I wouldn't really see the need to be 'monitored'. It's just something that bugs me every once in a while when I'm in my house. Am I being watched? Is there someone else here in stealth? Etc. The time I actually did catch someone spying on me was when I accidentally threw a bush at them. When they realized I saw them, they immediately fled. From then on I've only caught glimpses of health numbers and my gralats being ran through without any cause. I could just be paranoid, but a friend of mine also did see this occur when I invited him. Again, the staff member fled at the realization of this. So again I ask; why is this necessary? Or: Is this even allowed? Or: Is this an invasion of privacy by chance? I'm positive it isn't one of my friends on staff, they aren't ones to usually do that. For the most part I'm alright with it happening, but I'm just so curious to know if it's justified or not. TL;DR Help, someone is stalking my house in stealth mode. Is that allowed? Edit: Also another thing, if it was really just a friend of mine playing tricks on me: why would they flee whenever I caught them? They would normaly unstealth rather than leave to show it was a joke. |

Oh yeah if you're reported for a certain reason that can cause them to investigate at your house/guild house they will check it out. One of the biggest reasons I had to do this when I was staff was the people boosting kills in their houses.

hah this is why I don't really play classic, there's now way for us era people to know if a admin is lurking around our houses. What you don't know doesn't hurt you! >

Evidence
At a friends guild house, we were having a bush fight because we were bored. He missed and threw one at his house causing that to happen in the image below. It stayed 18.5 for a while before it whizzed past the screen and vanished. Scared us for a while |

When I was staff on iclassic sometimes I would warp to a random persons house and just sit there next to them, watching them farm...

Nabu, you just don't see admins in your gh while playing Era because the health system is different
