This happened to me also with my laptop Windows 7. Fixed once I did the repair.

Well first you can try a System restore via command line safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...mpt?SignedIn=1 Otherwise you can do like it was said above and boot up your PC with your Windows 7 installation disc in and let it boot that up. But it won't run Safe Mode, it just loops back to the Windows Error thingy.

Seems like your HDD's boot files are screwed. Try to get a disk that you can boot to that is only a file manager. Use that to scavenge all files you can onto an external HDD or simular. After you've done that, go into town and pick up a windows 7 restore disk (if you don't have one). There's not much you can do to repair boot files. |

Boot w/ Windows 7 disk/usb/whatever Let it run the Windows setup Choose the repair option? If you're not sure how to do it I can try to guide you... |

So, I basically quit and gave it to my dad's friend who works with computers. Thanks for all the advice guys!

My laptop has been broken for ages. Everything is superglued to the motherboard, thanks HP and the computer people who charged is $100 to fail at fixing it damaged the case. I'm trying to take the RAM out and sell it.
