Airsoft is generally easier on the wallet. The only up keep is ammo; it's relatively cheap (7,500 for $5). There can also be decent guns to be had around $80 to start off.

What is the 7-11 test? Can't find anything on google, but I'm getting the impression it has to do with people failing to notice it's not a real gun? Well first, many stores are robbed with less than a gun. They'll come after people with bats, sticks, poles... Now, what's worse? Being robbed with a real gun or an airsoft gun? Chances are if it's an airsoft gun they won't actually fire it, as it's just for intimidation. Seems like the 7-11 employee would be much safer in those regards. Whereas if they come in with a real gun, they may well fully intend to use it. In America, law states that airsoft guns must be orange tipped. This also applies to toys. However people have robbed stores with toy guns(actual toys, not airsoft) as well. TBH it doesn't take much to fool some people. BTW, I've got a question about airsoft guns. How do they propell the BBs? In Paintball we of course use large tanks, but I don't recall seeing any one airsoft guns. edit: Ah, apparently they're mostly electric. Lucky bastards :/ Gotta lug around a huge tank on paintball guns. Also, I got this 68/4500 for my birthday Set for a good 15 years it looks like!https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58874942/IMAG0171.jpg (Unsupported image host) |

Heh, Co2 is considered high tier? In paintball Co2 tanks are considered low-tier, and NO2/HPA are high-end. What's green gas and red gas?

Play paintball every here and there with friends, dont own guns or anything just rent them for the day whenever we go. I do however have a not so powerful airsoft gun that i got from a friend a while back, never really used it tho.

I just wish paintball was more prominent around here. There used to be a great paintball field just a few minutes away but it got closed down. Now I have to go all the way up to the next county to my sisters and go to a field there, but it's pretty damn bad. Pro is it's cheap and not field-paint only but cons is that the fields are meh and the hiking is TERRIBLE. I spend way more energy hiking from field to field than anything. I'd love to play in a urban type of field set-up. Canada sounds pretty damn nice right about now. |

lol most people in Canada just paintball in the woods or in some field that they get permission to use. I usually don't find that many broken paintballs where I live but loads of air soft BBs
