Halo 4 Campaign Sneak Peek

The graphics are nice and they got chiefs old voice and everything, but after I watched this my first thoughts were "This looks too much like Metroid." This seriously doesn't look like Halo so far. The enemies look like typical mediocre aliens you'd see in any other game. The elites and grunts and such in the other Halo games were more unique. I'm really not too satisfied from what I've seen so far. I know it's only a little clip, but I already have a bad feeling about the game.

Look up halo 4 enemies. There are many others, plus redesigned covenants.

Guess who the lead creative designer for343 industries is? You guessed it, the former president of Retro studios that developed the Metroid Prime series. Theres alot of other people from retro in 343 too, so of course it would take on some inspiration from metroid.

Well, I just hope the final game turns out better.

Haha. I did think it looked/felt very similar to Metroid when I saw it. The visor reminded me a lot of Prime, and the new enemies(with the sword) reminded me a lot of the way the Space Pirates were in the Prime games.

I really like what I see, with the introduction of new mobs it definately adds more spice to the game. All the models look really nice as well, might have to get this. :0

Someone else said it looked like Crysis too! I've never played it before so I couldn't say lol.

I'm getting it no matter what, but I would like to get my money's worth out of it. I hope they end up making it more like Halo rather than Metroid.
