The staff team might be busy with other stuff. Player Relations (or other staff members, but mostly Player Relations) have the other thousand or so players to reply with answers (not all thousand have a question, I'm just saying that some of the thousand players online might've PMed them before you). If a Player Relations does not reply to your PM, then you could always send them an email (most of the staff have an email in their status) |

*Gets 20% on a big test* You: TEACHERS SUCK FOR FAILING ME! Mom: It's your fault for not studying. You: Shut up, if you can't say something nice, don't talk to me! Mom: You're grounded. You: Nevermind Mom, ignore everything I just said, it was my pencil's fault.. |

He was being honest. Why no one bothered to explain what he meant is beyond me. To put what he has said in layman terms- You put: Yes, always. Yes, mostly. Not really. (leaves room for possibility of sometimes) Yes, always. Three options say yes. One option says no, but could be yes sometimes. What Twinny is saying is, the poll is biased/prejudice and in favor of the answer yes, staff ignore you. I also agree. You could have said: Always Sometimes Rarely Never Due to the bias, I will not take the poll. Example: As Assistant Manager of Shaded Legends, I am constantly bugged by players and staff alike. I'm not saying that this is not a bad thing, or that it does not give me ideas.. but members asking to apply, then asking if I've seen the application, over and over again... Or asking why they weren't hired... Why it has taken me a long time to see the application... Then from the staff section, asking me if something can be uploaded, if they can have something... Asking me for more rights, or even letting me know of ideas and suggestions. In the last two days I've created a class for waterfalls which took me 7 hours due to the math not equaling out, switching images for ganis, and showimg not working properly. I've fix the apple tree images, various images around the gmap. I've gone around fixing tiles, and broken level links. Hold the Briefcase was massively broken, and the event Chance did not worked, took me a while to fix both of them, since Hold the Briefcase starts as a level npc, goes to a class, and back to a weapon. It took a while to figure out which was doing what and how to start. The introduction is still not completed but it has take a good amount of time trying to accompany my fellow staff team. I've edited the tileset a couple of times, and fix things that are broken for others. Now lets get into what a staff member should do: Managers: -Doesn't necessarily have to do physical work, but gets all information together. -Manages all the staff teams and takes bugs and suggestions into consideration while trying to improve the server. -They should look professional, relate to players if they have time, and represent their servers. Server Admin: -Basically everything the managers do, but assist the Manages and make sure everything is kept up for the players. They also keep every other administration team in line. NPC Administration Team Admin: -Responsible for keeping all NPCs working as well as developing new things. Responsible for recruiting and keeping their hirelings in line. NPC Administration Team: Creating weapons, GUIs, and tools needed given by the Server Admin or Mangers. Things like quest material, or small systems like turning into something else such as a transformation. Graphics Administration Team Admin: -Creating graphics for the new content, by instruction of one of the higher admin teams. -Responsible for recruiting and keeping their hirelings in line. Graphics Administration Team: -Creating graphics for the new content like above but mainly asked by the GAT Admin. -More so involved in uploading content from players than the GAT Admin. Levels Administration Team Admin: -Creating levels for upcoming content, quests, new areas. -Fixing outdated levels or tile errors. Usually for the main map. -Responsible for recruiting and keeping their hirelings in line. Levels Administration Team: -Creating graphics for the new levels for the content to come, as well as other level type orders given by their LAT Admin. Events Team Admin: -Creating levels, NPCs, weapons, and whatever else is needed for events. (You could say NAT and LAT combined "a little less emphasis on NAT") -Relate to players and feedback for their events. -Responsible for recruiting and keeping their hirelings in line. Events Team: -Come up with ideas for the Events Team Admin, and host events. -Relate to the players they host for. Graal Police Admin: -Should talk to the players and take feedback from them. -Responsible for handling big situations where hacking or non-petty things are involved. Basically banning. -Watching around to see if anyone is breaking the rules, gathering evidence. -Responsible for recruiting and keeping their hirelings in line. Graal Police: -Should talk to the players and take feedback from them. -Responsible for behaviors against the rules of the server and making sure others are keeping the game fun for other players. Basically jailing. Players Relation Team Admin and Team: -Same as Events Team and GP. *Note, only the above five categories, Server Admin, and Managers must relate to players, whereas the other teams do not necessarily have to talk to anyone. Staff members are players and have the same rights as you do. However, the Admin and Manager type positions are more requiring of time and may not have enough time to talk to everyone. With my example you'll note Shaded Legends is a small server, iEra is huge. Being staff is not supposed to be all fun and games, if even so. You have also managed to forget that iEra staff did once talk to you, whereas I know based on experience iClassic staff block all incoming contact. So it is hard to get in touch with them. You should be happy you were able to contact them to begin with. Both teams have friendly staff members, both have not so friendly staff members. Both sides of each can choose to ignore or answer you depending if you've annoyed them enough with petty things like judging and critiquing artwork should they not have the time to do so. Now what I wonder is: Have you bothered to ask them why you are being ignored? With this stunt you just pulled, you can bet you will probably keep being ignored. You've put both teams down, and shown poor character. |

it depends on who you are trying to contact, sometime i get a reply/answer to a question quick (i.e when my M4 went missing, all i had to do was email SnakeRekon and within an hour i was back with my m4, however when i tried to email [email protected] i got one reply and it was more of a suspicious question answering a question like "what do you mean your m4 is missing" but then again snakerekon asked for PC id# and boom he took care of it for me.
