That is in a supply-and-demand economy with a finite amount of currency circulating. In an economy such as Era's with an unlimited amount of currency and supply, prices are static. With a trade system, the players will be able to capitalize and trade within themselves individually. When this happens, players that have no need of guns anymore (take the BAR for example), they will attempt to sell it for a fraction of the price, possibly 150k. When more and more trades like this happen, players will boycott buying from the shops, and start buying from the players that buy/resell BARs. Soon enough, the actual street price will be more like 140k-160k, or even lower, as opposed to the set 200k. When that happens, in-game stores will become useless. If you want to stabilize the economy while keeping a trade system intact, you will need to limit the supply of BARs that can be bought and circulated. This is another problem, as this leads to item hoarding.

Except to get more bars you need to buy them from the store and you can't trade for money in pretty sure.

it can't be compared to real life because money comes out of nowhere(jobs) and leaves into nowhere(shops)

I would say it can be compared to real life money entirely, credit cards are almost entirely digital...

Except you still get money and the money still goes somewhere, the credit is worth real money, they can store and get real money out of it even if it's not physically money like checks.

The idea he is saying that there is infinite supply of money, the job givers have infinite money. Stores can receive money and it doesnt go anywhere except occasionally goes to the owners of the areas base.

The materials you obtain for selling such as flowers and shells do not get stored anywhere. There is no limit of these resources.

Thus there is no economy. The government in the game doesn't need money to run, no taxes, no nothing.

There is no trade system in development for iClassic. The pictures that a user has been posting on facebook are fake.

 

Add something like this to Classic to trade hats?
