I voted no, and no I wasn't trolling.

Although I like the idea of returning a gun for whatever reason (perhaps the gun performance was not what you expected, etc), I don't think it is a good idea. If we do implement a refund policy, there should be limitations, for example, you can only return the gun for a 50% refund after so many days.

If we were able to return guns indefinitely, then the gun shops are technically gun rental centers. The price to rent is technically 50% of the gun asking price, the other 50% acts like a deposit, and you can rent for however long you want. This isn't how the system is meant to be.

Possible problem I can see arise in the long run would be an imbalance/disparity of guns being used. For example, lets just say we released a new gun, the bazooka. Everyone (not really everyone, but the majority) will return all their old guns and buy the bazooka. Now we'll have everyone running around with bazookas. Then when another gun gets released, the same scenario will occur and guns would basically become seasonal, the old guns would begin to be obsolete.

In the current system, your efforts are rewarded. If you earned a high end gun, it will remain a top tier gun. It will not be rendered obsolete, and you do not have to keep returning your guns to keep "up to date" with the new guns being released. By implementing a "rental" system (I say rental because a refund system is essentially a rental system), the accessibility of guns increase, meaning it is easier to obtain new guns as they come out, which will in turn devalue the top tier guns. The goal then would not be to save up and work hard for the top gun, but to keep up to date by being able to afford the new guns after selling your old ones. It would turn into a race to see who could get their hands on the new guns quickest...a race which would certainly require you to refund your old guns to win.

For a refund system to work, without altering/damaging the current system, there will need to be limitations as I've stated above. Perhaps say you could return your item for a full refund within 30 minutes of purchasing the gun, 50% price after 15 days, etc.

Again, this is my opinion and any debate/discussion on it is welcomed.

Yea street I get what your saying, and that would work too. It would be alot of work, and may be pretty glitchy at the start. I just know from game experience that most people need something like this. Many people dont use the old gun's that they once purchased from starting the game. A 50% return value is more then fair in my opinion, and itseems like everyone would benefit from a update like this.

And once again, Era's economy has to be taken into consideration.  

It's a video game...economy...real life...Lé poot.

And stop agreeing with admins in every thread. You remind me of the noobs that run around "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG ADIAM!"

And as for the refund the guns thing, it probably won't be added. The only reason pc has it as far as I can tell is because they have a small player base, also why they have trading.

I'm all for a place to store your weapons to clear inventory however ^.^

Id rather get a folder system for the inventory, you know like making on springboard on iOs5
Let us create folders that can we call "Food" we I clued our stuff candy,burgers,etc...
And refunding guns would give a major problems to the economy of the game, so either replace it with rocks/minerals/ammo bullets either don't add it.
How about adding Jester's locker as a folder icon, and we can buy folders up like we do with hotkey's, anyone with me?

All this tells me is the 2nd generation of guns was overpriced to begin with. Those who don't have mom's credit card don't buy every gun available anymore. Since earning gralats is harder now, people are more particular about what they buy. I wish we could get 50% back but that likely won't happen. I do like the 30 minute/15 day option tho (since he asked for feedback). My two cents.  

Have you ever thought of the idea that guns are constantly changed? What if they randomly improved the gun or added an attachment. But you sold the gun for half price. Now you have to pay 150% of the cost. Either way it's a win win situation for both eurocenter and us.
