well usually what i would do would keep a checkpoint.....like a piece of cobblestone every now and then in the mines so i dont lose my house! after im done i follow the trail of random cobble and i reach my house! easy and you dont get lost that badly

Seriously, don't go in the abandoned mines. The time spent not only navigating them, but also fighting the mobs you can find in there(poison spiders are the most frequent) isn't really worth the treasure you very rarely find.

Also I made a server so me and my friend can play on the world I have already started off on but I don't know how to put that world for us to spawn in online any of you guys know how to fix or do that? |

Okay the world save folders are stored at %appdata%\.minecraft\ just type that in the search bar and you will find a folder with all of your save files for single player. Copy it to the folder you host your server, replace the existing world file and there you go NOTE: change the name of the single player world to the name of the world file in your server folder.
