They drop a gold gralat. Or at least mine did. They are actually a pretty cool fight if you ever get the chance to fight them

There is a legend that once you have killed 50 of those flaming black blobs with your sword, you will obtain the ability of a fire. Oh wait...we already have those for the lanterns... |
