Is the world ready for a real apocalypse?
We all have seen movies of our world ending and watching the outcome of it, But to this day people are stocking up on everything that they need in case it really does happen. Has watching these movies made us prepared for the worst and to survive it?

Yes and no. I honestly believe an "apocalypse" is possible in terms of extreme civil unrest. However, the people who do prepare for these things mainly try to adapt to what they see in shows and movies, or what they read about. Others enjoy the thrilling concept of a post-collapse society but I doubt they'd go as far as to prepare themselves for it. It's those people that'll be running around trying to grab whatever they can while sh*t hits the fan. Even then, with an organized plan, survival would be difficult. Personally, I do keep certain things stocked up in the shack in my backyard, as well as have necessities in my BOB (bug out bag) but it's to be prepared for personal emergencies such as a house fire, and only somewhat suited for an extreme apocalyptic scenario.

It wouldn't be an apocalypse if everyone was prepared and survived. The short answer: no |

Rexx wins. The world can't be ready for the (note the use of "the" rather than "an") apocalypse because the apocalypse is the end of the world. |

Hah, if i was like one of those doomsday preppers (or w/e they are called) i wouldn't even show my face on the tv. Guess what happens when an actual apocalypse happens? Everyone will go to the people that were shown on tv since they are known for having such a good amount of food and other survival stuff.

It depends, if you are talking about zombies (or aliens)..hell yes however if you are referring to global insanity or meteors, it's hard to say. |

if apocalypse means the end of the world (which would mean it was impossible to survive) then someone should call Webster and ask them to make a name for the events leading up to the apocalypse because I would definitely survive that event ez GOAT
