As the Graal bank has no purpose right now, I say we give it a purpose. You could say "withdraw 10000" or "deposit 10000" for gralats anywhere in the bank with the right funds. If you keep say atleast 5000 in the bank at all times for a month, and say you have 10000 gralats but need 2.5k for that worthless piece of **** hat you want to buy, you can take a loan of 2.5k, but then your gralats show up as negative. Every time you get gralats the number gets closer to 0 but you cannot buy anything. SO essentially, whatever your bank keeps in a month from the lowest amount you can take a loan of half that amount so 10k of gralats in the bank for a month, you can take up to a 5k loan by saying "loan 5000" Another thing you could do is for a set amount of time, you can have interest on your gralats, with an early termination fee of withdrawing the gralats of 10%. Since most of our stupid preteen playerbase can't wait for 5 minutes for that spiffy new piece of **** hat and like the idea of interest of 10% for every 3 months, they would pay the termination fee for that ****ty hat. This ensures that smart players make money (3-6% of our database) and that our dumb***es (94-97%) buy more gralats packs to get out of their debt or for that early termination fee. There's no purpose for the bank is the problem. There's no reason to store gralats away because you can't lose them. Your person is a walking, more convenient, bank.

That would discourage people to indulge in PKing when they could risk losing gralats that they have paid for with real money. At least now there's no risk in PKing, therefor people aren't afraid to walk out and maybe die or participate if they feel like it.  

I would love a bank or at least a ledger system to keep track of my spending. Must be frugal and financed as much as possible!  

Or maybe have a savings, and a checkings account. So you can see your savings grow, and that's where you would deposit Gralats into in which you would not want to spend. So in order not to spend them, you would deposit them in your savings, you would also earn some Gralats for having trust with the bank. Maybe there is another bank in Oasis, where if you use their bank you can deposit a VIP Subscription in there also, and maybe they would give you more Gralats for having trust with their bank since you had already paid 7,500 to already use their bank basically. What do you think?

If they're on you, you're more likely to spend them. No profit will be altered or changed from a bank, simply because it's the same amount of money being used, only stored for safe keeping. Besides, this would be really convenient for those who often have no money whenever something's released. That way, they could better save their money for safe keeping. VIP subscriptions and other purchases can also be deducted from the bank as well. Things like hats and furniture would still have to be bought with money paid up front with the cash on your player. But with this auto-deduction system would give the bank a purpose and maybe pave way to other ingame subscriptions. Like a monthly selection of player made hats and furniture in the back room of the museum for example only allowed for those who have paid the optional subscription *scans rooms for potential whiners*. A bank could also be used to store surplus furniture that take up space within a house or guild house for future use. Keep track of purchases (inapp and ingame), withdrawals and deposits recently made. The Baddies and Pyrats are slaughtered so easily and daily. They might as well have lost by now. Besides, even if the bank is robbed the money is secured by the federal government ;)

I was just adding an idea for like a better bank than the original one where everyone could go to. But never mind that, you shouldn't have to pay for a bank, I think you do in real life though, not sure. But, yeah in a game I guess you should not have to pay, even if it's not really real life money. Well most anyways spend their real life money on the game anyways, like I used to. I learned my lesson, though.  

Bank loans? As you said, most of the playerbase is made up of stupid preteens who have no sense of finance. Now lets say a kid takes out a million gralats in loans and buys a bunch of crap. What is forcing him to pay those "loans" back? What if little jimmy decides to keep taking loans out and never farm because its basically free money? Either there needs to be a very low maximum amount you can take as a loan, or stefan has just lost several hundred dollars worth of gralat packs on one player. Ya bad idea.  

You wouldn't be able to buy anything until the loan is repaid is how it could work. And how would be the fastest way to do that? *hint hint nudge nudge Steff-Steff* Loans would also be a good idea, but as you said there would have to be a limit.  

I personally hate the idea of loans, I think the idea of there being a bank is enough as is.
