We didn't use it because Mya went Indian giver on me about the reference hat and I didn't want 1 or 2 other hats to look identical to ours due to Vaazk's greed

making something out of scratch is really hard thing IMO. i've tried GFX multiple times, i ended up stealing heads. so im personally not too against edited hats AS LONG AS they give the full credit to the original creators and they don't look exactly identical. basically agree to what coco said. |

By saying it should be so edited that it doesn't look edited, I didn't mean you should or could edit a hat. Editing hats isn't a good thing to do and I would strongly advise you not to do it. When I said it should look like it's not edited, I meant it in such a way that it should be so edited that no one would suspect it was even an edit...but usually at that point it might as well have been made from scratch and used something as a reference at most. You just shouldn't edit hats. Use them as a reference, fine. But straight up taking an existing hat and editing it, no matter how different it looks, isn't advised. If you're going to go through the effort to edit a hat so much that it doesn't appear edited, you might as well make a new hat from scratch. |

![]() If we only did 5k hat and 10k mount, guild hats wouldn't be as common and therefore not as many look-a-likes. But god forbid that ever happen. Everyone would rage. |

I don't think it should be looked at as a flaw in the rewards system, it should really be looked at as guild leaders needing to have actual standards and wanting to have their guild represented by something cool and unique If people want ugly or unoriginal hats then they should probably be allowed to have them as long as they aren't direct copies |

Oh if that's the case, I need my guild hat to be smaller since it's pretty big. I'll try to dig up the hat file in my email. Do I follow the same protocol as submitting a guild hat but write in the subject that it's being resized?
