So uh I saw this 'things' all over the place, you can kill them for gralats and I saw someone got a Key from it. Any explanation?

Apparently, it's named as 'Glitched Key'
 

Thinking it's a 10th anniversary event or something. Let's see how this progresses.

Any idea what the keys do yet? Assuming you can collect multiples seeing as they have a 1 next to them.  

Yep, i too have the key, it spawns very frequently just below the rebel hat shop. Check if you have it too, its in the quest folder but doesnt actually show a message when you receive it. Assuming its some cool quest but we will have to see - surely not for christmas, maybe new year? Likely anniversary.

I suggest people start looking round the map since the use of the key may already be in the game.

I checked every single part of the map and there's no place or buildings related to the key yet. Maybe it'll be added later once it's ready.

Also, there's small chance (probably not lol) this key will be used in Babord or the closed houses in the new Swamp? Who knows!

nah i just edited the image I don't think you can actually get more than 1.

The monster looks like a fusion of dodongo snake and moldorm worm so maybe thats why its looks glitched xD...
