Seems like they just don't like 4-Lom, Despite he is a pretty chill guy.

So my solution to this is to form a gang, Me, Numbrero,Ximithie,McCullough and 4-Lom as our gang leader. Bring your friends. Family. Kids. And we will all take clubs and beat the swamp town Witch into a pulp and make Witch stew with the pot. Who with me? We'll show her not to close down when 4-Lom is selling bugs!(P.S wear biker clothes, Like chains, Leather. Piercings, Mowhawks, etc so we really give off a gang look)

Either you're lying about it being 40 minutes or just making it sound harder than it actually is and are using an editor that makes those things simple. You also have to acknowledge how outdated the Graal level editor is (they may have an update one for developing but to my knowledge they don't), which makes it more tedious than using editors like Unreal which have been constantly updated to make them extremely easy to use.

Factor in that Graal uses it's own scripting language as well so a lot of premade tools you see in various editors just don't exist for the Graal editor, and they are harder to make because the language is obsolete and limiting (I personally don't really script using the language, but most fancy tools you see often make use of several languages - and ones that get updated to be more functional). Also factor in they are being published for a live MMO, so naturally a lot more work goes into fine tuning details and making sure everything will work properly. Your 40 minute town is extremely bland and rushed and it's very easy to tell.

This, and there's nothing much out there to train people on the scripting language.

Crono has been making Graal levels for well over 6 years so he is probably the most experienced expert in this thread on the matter, I also know he enjoys doing it and while I can't say if the other devs do or not, I know that enjoying it makes you want to put more work into it and making it the best you possibly can. Maybe you can do a 40 minute rough rough rough draft, but you're looking at a lot more time if you want it to be polished and presentable.

omfg, the time I put into cliff tiling back in the day. Crono, I expect your going off of wicked old Babord if the cliff tiling is taking up any significant amount of time (rather than the version with the lighthouse)? Yea, things I could've done better there, and would've done if the gnome caves ever had been recompleted and polished, but still easier to rework without the major issues in the first place.

Wonder what new quest and/or quests await there? Will it take a day to complete like the other quests (Big City, Destiny etc) and then become "dead" once everybody does the quest and leaves? Just like all the other new areas created...

Babord is my favorite town. I think it will become a 2nd central hub for all players assuming they dont completely bastardize what Babord is supposed to be. They need to spread everyone out and make an unstick me point be in the center of Babord. This town has far more potential in atmosphere alone to be a new occupational zone than Destiny for example  

would be cool if each town kinda was heavy in a different competitive community, ie; MoD had the gs arena and 1v1 arena and the dojo, but york had stuff for baddy killing

Here is the map of the baboard I would find it cool to put the baboard back with the quests the gnomes our dear "chimp captain" and also our princess ... that house was just a scare?
