I was wandering around today and found this I thought it was peculiar and wanted to know what it was, it is west of the Joint for those who want to check it out. I also attached how awesome my l33t gralats are... Im so weird...

Exactly what I thought when I first saw it. During the Winter, there was a puddle in Destiny and there was a noob under the ice. I was horrified.  

It's been there since Halloween and hasn't be removed since, I think it's to make newer players feel unsettled and fear the game  

Make the noobs fear the game, quit, and along with them the dev's chance of more gralat pack buyers. Pretty good plan.

Other than the possible controversy behind a random player seeing that with no context, I like when developers add little details like that. Even if it is accidental that it is even there, it is still really cool.

With further investigation, the actual item is 12x35. 35 isn't a multiple of 16 so it would have to use 3 tiles, no one wastes 3 tiles on a detail used once. Upon review of the tile set I didn't see anything that resembled it. AND it doesn't really look like anything... Unless we can rub a magic lamp and say "/showdev"
and a developer appear so we can ask them, I suppose it will be a mystery!

Ya it's called "magic" but Dusty Cronco and Implint being the noob they are call them NPCs.  

Oooohhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. I'm gonna go click it and the piece of... Rope? Will have the best items ever and it all cost 1 gralat. How awesome would that be?
