I am almost to my 6k milestone, and i have been looking forward to my helm for a while , and thats a main reason while i continue to spar. if there is no reward, why continue ?

Rewards are just motivators. They're not supposed to be your only reason for doing something.

Motivation is a good argument. I started sparring because pk got boring. The 6k was like the only thing which motivated me to spar till 6k. Some time ago, nexus sold the smily bombs and the rasta hat for players with 20k pks. I killed 3k in one day because the items motivated me. Same thing with the 40k room. I pked months fot them, because they motivated me. Basically the items ARE the only or most primal Reason why player do it.

The Fun is gone, if you see how people get rewarded with the hat and you dont.  

Giving out hats as prizes for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING cripples people's ability to have fun without receiving something in return. It happened on PC Graal, and apparently it's happening here too at an excessive rate. It needs to stop, and if you don't like doing the activities without a reward, don't do them. It's either that or the problem will only get worse, and people will be expecting to receive hats for everything, and thus this obsession with hats will continue.

Yet everyone complains that the server is all about hats..

Matt started giving them out so he cant just say ´´Ill stop cause im too busy etc´´ If you want that hats shouldnt get out for doing anything, then
- no more GST hats
-No more 40k room
-No more hide and seek or trivia .....
Honestly i guess when youll reach your 6k, ull get rewarded within seconds.

To be honest, I'd quite happily never receive another hat on the server as long as I play. I don't log on to get hats that I won't even wear, and I certainly wouldn't actively seek out a 6k hat if I achieved that amount of spar wins. What they should do is stop giving out spar hats, stop giving out hats for towers, and impliment achievements for people to get. The point of "achieving" something is not in what you receive, but the identification of a personal milestone. In that thread I did say that some could receive gralats or hats as their prize, but I was just going with the trend at the time.

People should not need to receive hats for a milestone that everyone can get at some point, but rather, when they have actually won something. There is a difference.

While writing that, admins updated the onnet store with new stuff. Isnt it a good thing if people have fun at towers or spar if they have the motivation of an hat, item or whatever. The only Reason why i still play Graal, is the imagination of updates which improve or re-improve the Game.

People who "enjoy hats for milestones" are crippling themselves, like I've already said. If you still play Graal to improve the game then stop trying to reinforce the hat obsession. This is really not an improvement, just a continuation of the current sad state of affairs.

If would be an Improvment to all players who havent got their hats, or for those who still sparring for 6k.
How was the ´´BringBackPK´´ an improvment for Graal? No one is even pking there. Mod is and will be in future the pk centre. Isnt it kinda annoying if you want to afk or brb and constantly getting pked.

How is it an improvement AT ALL? It just encourages the server to further obsess over hats. "Bringing back PK" brought back PK, and considering there's people PKing everywhere I go now (y'know, playing the game LOL!) I'd say it was a success. You want to make changes to improve things for people who go AFK or BRB? I think you are playing the wrong kind of game here. Except you're not really playing it, apparently.

Wasnt it something u wanted and stand up for? So do i. It wasnt really a big success then. I dont see any people pking in Belle, Snow or Onnet much. How can i play the Game wrong. Some people prefer to go afk to get more hours to enter the Hour Zones or just to see how a number grow "LOL"
Well it is just a Hat, but i investet Time in sparring to get. I may get over it, when i see it in my Inventory.  

I see what Rufus is saying, but people want an item to show off what they've accomplished, with a [quite cool-looking] helmet that not many players can attain. What's wrong with that?

As a side note, I saw Nadine wearing the 10k hat the day she got 10k spar wins (4 days ago).  

First, you can get motivated in many ways for Sparring:
1. Guild Spar Tournaments
2. Spar hats
3. Fun Spar broadcasts

Sparring is still fun but it could wear off for a while.
