too many guild names are taken
a lot of them are inactive with a leader that has not logged on for 2 years
and all the members offline for a year except for one who logs on once a month for like 10 minutes

I think guilds with inactive leaders who have been away for 1 year and 4 other members who have been away for around 6 months
should be deleted

I say no simply because a lot of 1k tower guilds fit this criteria and it would be stupid to delete them. Guilds today might not care about their hat chasing guild name, but the older ones do.  

I think they did this in 2012 or 13 they deleted some of the guilds who were very inactive and had barely any fort hours or memebers that were logged on for a year.  

so let's say a really popular player (zee) quit a really long time ago (over 1,000 days) and he owns a guild (ASZS) for all of his friends who occasionally wear the tag to remember the great times they shared. no? zee doesn't play anymore therefore completely destroy his guild and all of the memories?

I find it not fair and rude tbh.But if it's for a good reason then I suppose it's "okay".  

If the leader of a guild doesn't get online after a year and the guild doesn't have more than 50 hours, just disband the guild and refund the lead.
After all it's not like 50 hours were meant lot and at the same time if the leader isn't on for a year well that's his fault if the guild gets disbanded.

I'm not fond of this idea. Maybe they can start a little something where you can ask admins for an inactive guilds name but this whole system where you giveaway guild names due to being offline for a certain period of time seems too farfetche'd

Its not the screen with the guild name and the list of members
its the memories of being with the guild when it was active is what means to people

Dust off that lava lamp. Last November I was wrongfully banned for "solicication" when in reality all I did then was tower. I proceeded to make a ticket and then log onto Era so I can measage Xor. He fixed everything in 10 minutes.

Deleting old guilds is already a thing. When nobody puts on a guild tag for two years it is automatically deleted.  

No interest in someone named Shad0wbat12~ taking (US). Bad idea for many other reasons than that

If you made a cool guild name, leave, and then come back.
Would you want your guild to have been taken away?

I mean I probably wouldn't, no, but I'm not sure how valid my opinion would be considering I never actually log into the game.
