Try do it bit by bit. The whole tileset doesn't need to be revamped, just some bits. You could start off by changing the colour of some of the tiles, (that was my biggest issue, as the blue/light grey city floating in the blue sky really didn't match, maybe try adding some black/grey buildings or changing the sky to space) then start fixing up the shading on others. You don't need to redo it fro, scratch. When era got its tileset updated, it wasn't the entire thing, it started with just the roads/footpaths, then the sand, grass and water, then the trees, and that's pretty much all that was changed, and it still made a big improvement

Your first step could be just redoing the water, sand, grass and dirt since they are single tiles and would be fairly easy to redo compared to the building tiles. (And because they look pretty horrible, especially the water contrasted with the sand) Then you could update the trees. Those alone would change the look of the map quite alot

Don't tell me, I dont work there. Although personally I do not think that is the best way to go about changing a tileset.

I don't see how when making a full tileset that is any better, especially when the whole server needs a revamp. The problem isn't bad colors or whatever niche things people complain about when it comes to the tileset. Its the ****ing skymall. When you have a whole world founded in a way you cannot change small factors without an entire revamp, you can't just knock little things out of the way one by one over the course of a year or more. It needs to be released at once. Zone's problem when it comes to their gmap and tileset is they cannot change anything without having everything redone.

Making prettier grass or water tiles isn't a problem. I bet most of their team could do that right now. But when you look at the big picture, that won't change a damn thing about the server. Who gives a **** if their grass looks good if the rest of the world is handicapped? They can't make different buildings because NO pixel artist can match the style of the current tileset. And they really proved that with the casino building. Its as simple as that.  

I can't see why Cyberjouers couldn't pay for a new tileset for Zone if it's really that bad. A tileset costs like a few hundred dollars from a pixel artist?

I think the current worst PC server could be Unholy Nation just because it feels lifeless to me. It used to be the bee's knees.

The worst iServer would be Zone, because of the decisions they've made about direction. The server idea is fantastic, I just think the direction was lacklustre.

Ok so i want to know. What servers are just so bad if its p2w, horrible staff, terrible mechanics, player base etc.

For me its a toss up between iera and izone

Igraal hit an all time low with izone because of their new jail system where you can pay 5k graalets to speed up your time. Or just buy a pack. Nothing fresh and new has been released.

Iera. Autsitic community, terrible combat with p2w set up, terrible jobs, broken items, useless content.

Best Server = UN/N-Pulse PC
Worst Server = iEra
