Ever since the release, I've been wanting a PS4 but my parent wouldn't let me. They usually say "You already have an Xbox 360, no need to get another console." I've tried to convince them in every way I could think lf but they still refuse. Now, I'm an average 15 years old high school student, I get some A's, some B's and some C's. I swore to my parent that I'll get my C to an A if they get me a PS4 but they still won't do it. ;-; I told them all the pros and cons about a PS4 but still no. But before I set out on a journey to save up for it, I'd like to ask you guys for some tips on how you convince your parent when you want something.

Do you have a job or make any allowance?

If so, try and make most of the money to go towards a PS4 and at the same time work on those grades.

I don't have a job, but my dad gives me $5/day. Now, I'm trying to do some chores to get some extra money and go to the neighbor and do something for them to get paid but idk what to do. Everyone in the neighbor is good and they don't need my help on anything ;-;  

If your dad has a side chick you can blackmail him.  

How long have you had a 360?  

And I'm working really hard on my grades atm. I only got a C in Biology ;-;

Save up at least half, show your parents you're committed and maybe they'll put in the other half.

Problem is, that Xbox is a home console. My whole family play it.

Dad use it to play Fifa, I use it to play Naruto Storm, AC, GTA, etc.  

Alright then selling off the ol' poopbox 420 isn't an option unfortunately.

Since summer is really close, you'll have a lot of time to scrape together the money so don't worry too much about time.

You'll probably be able to make bank of things like mowing lawns and other stuff.  

LOL @ people saying the 360 is crap. It's an established console and had a decent amount of games. Perfectly worth keeping around. Not to mention it's never worth selling a console for a measly amount of cash anyways.
