I know about as much as the news report mentioned as well. iPad2 isn't on the list(which I own) so I'm a little confused about what specific device/iOS version combos will be supported.

I think the iPad 2 and iPhone 4s/5 already come with the iOS5 system in it.

No lol. Sorry, I've been less serious on the Classic section lately. According to them it's just a minor update. I was curious what it was myself as it would effect devices that hadn't updated to a more current version of iOS. Can't say I'm too disappointed though.

i hope this update doesn't nurf the iOS7 firmware. The iOS7 firmware made the client run at a ridiculously smooth pace for the iPad2 in large areas; (like the burger refuge and the bank areas.,) With the controls set to Nicknames, Zoomed-out, small/original controls, and gifs on. for example;

like this, although this isn't the best example, because there isn't a lot of players online at this time.
