I don't hate advancement, just the paperwork, as well as helping kids, I hate kids in general.

New Scouts learn quickly though in my troop. The committed ones have an attitude change, and the others quit. We get the best quality people, just because of the way our older scouts act. The newbies are not newbies for long.

They can join -__- it's an old rule, never upheld till some kid got kicked out, he brought it to court or something and it was changed to a more accepting policy.

I am technically still in boy scouts. I haven't been active for 4 over years though. If anyone here is from 277 let me know though, I might know you from some where lmao.

My brother was a boy scout from like 2nd to 6th grade. I never understood the point of it... All I remember was that I had to come with them on trips and there was archery, alot of walking, swimming, and bugs.

PS: My brother is graduating this year so... That was a long time ago.

Its all about parents wanting their kids to have a nicer looking college application, A.K.A. they want their kids to make more money. Isn't that what everything eventually boils down to?

You go down to key largo in Florida and you sail around the keys for a week. You get to go fishing, snorkeling, ect. I did it last summer.
