I'm positive that they could easily make this if they wanted to, but I don't really see how it would help their sales. Money's useless except to purchase things from them, and creating an economy would give it more use and cause less people to buy gralat packs.

Which yeah, this would be fantastic and I really want it too, but that's why they aren't doing it.

I don't agree with you. In a free market economy prices are determined by supply and demand. If a player has a hat that everyone wants, prices go high for that hat. What is a quick and easily method of getting money to buy that hat?

Just like on UN but there you can´t buy gralats/ECs with real money

Aren't ecs event coins and u WORK for them? If you can buy them everyone would have rare items.

Not necessarily. Some hats on Classic are won through events such as Hide n' Seek or sparring against staff. Some hats were sold a while back and are never going to be resold. Things like that make up the economy, because not everyone has access to purchase everything.

I was talking from UN. You get them there from Events. You can buy them for gralats but you don´t really make any profit ;)

Yeah event coins it's very hard to win events now and then I play zodiac and I go at like 20 event coins a week u can buy them from other players but I don't do that unless there hasn't been an event hosted for a long while.

I don't see how a trade system would hurt the profits from the game. the same amount of money is in the game. Items still need to be purchased first by in game shops before they exist, and even if their value inflates, it's at the cost of the buyer having to buy gralats packs.
lets say the game has 3 players(lulz)
p1 has 20k
p2 has 50k
p3 has 0
70k in game
p1 buys hat for 10k
60k in game
hat goes away
p2 buys hat from p1 for 15k
60k in game(do the math)

Well alot of stuff that was supposed to be given out and never sold again is sold again. Like the muse mask was only given to those that beat muse in a spar, but it got sold later. the leprechaun hat was limited time only, and it was given out again this year, the lava pet was limited time only, it too was resold.. According to XOR every hat is uploaded with the intention of it being sold..

An economy in a game like this is purely imaginary. Buying things won't "stimulate the economy" this isn't America. What you're talking about is the real world economy behind the game. Either way someone will have to get the gralats to make the trade. Whether it's one side or the other doesn't really matter. The packs will be purchased and the gralats traded to another person who will eventually use them or trade them to another person who will eventually use them or trade them to another person blahblahblah etc.

This will cause more work for staff. People will be like "OMG I GOT SCAMMED HELP" alot and spam the feedback preventing staff to see the important stuff. Also the reports will be filled with players whining about being scammed.

Most online games don't accept scamming as something that can be dealt with by in-game staff. As long as there are precautions, a safe trading system, and people are made aware that the staff can not help them if they get scammed, everything should work out.

There will always be people who are trying to take advantage of the younger audience of the game. If this trade system was enabled, i'm pretty sure the scammers would go around claiming this hat is worth so and so, and some people who are gullible enough may believe it. Adding to that, there also may be gralat sellers, like in some mmos, reducing from the revenue from the gralat pack purchases.
