Hope this didn't happen to anyone else... The rollercoaster of emotions sounds horrible... Some reasoning should be in the email as to why it was mixed up imo :/

I've heard from people that they received the same email. If anything it just is not fair to get someone's hopes up with the acceptance of a hat to later be denied. Not only is it unfair but it is also unprofessional. This has caused a lot of confusion amongst those who have received rejection emails after the acceptance ones. Acceptance emails should not have been sent out until everything was confirmed.
