I retract what I said, it sucks, anything that encourages careful gameplay is stupid, the same thing I said about kill streaks applies to this:
It's a problem to me because it's a fluff stat that encourages playing in a way that's both unnatural and unhealthy for the game. It makes sense on an economy server like Era where you're using items and healing and death has some form of consequence, but on Classic it's totally pointless. The way you can tell the stat is bad is by imagining if every player online was trying their best to beat the highest recorded streak - PKing wouldn't even be remotely fun in that world.
