He didn't burn them, Rey stole them (this is shown in the movie's final scene, i missed it the first time I watched it) and Yoda only set the tree on fire. When Yoda says "Rey already has all the information in those books." He isn't making some corny metaphor, he is speaking very literally. She literally has the books lol.

Hmmm ok wth I missed that. I have a feeling Rey will pursue building the Jedi order since they showed a child using the force in the last part before the credits. It may very well get interesting in the next film.
This trilogy seems to have much delay in the action that we've been waiting for, and I hope they compensate for it in the third film.
