I could've swore there used to be a general headphone recommendation thread, but didn't find it.
Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations for a new pair of IEMs (IN-EAR, not earbuds). After 6 years, my
SMS 50 Cent Street earphones are barely holding together at the connector, and electrical tape isn't helping. And unfortunately, these are no longer manufactured (the only thing I see on Amazon are $10 fakes)
I'm looking for something that is similar in shape to my current pair (see linked picture) (Basically, I mean a pair that is fairly cylindrical and go straight in; not the oval-shaped type that go in at a weird angle)
Budget: up to $120 USD, $150 at most.
Specs:
-3.5mm connector
-Round/dome silicon tip earpieces
-Cord MUST be sturdy and long-lasting. Flat-wire or braided-wire would be preferred
-Volume controller/mic is preferred
-Please, NO "around-ear" pieces, nor the pieces that fit into your outer cartilage.
-Needs to have a good bass response, but overall balanced audio
-A little noise isolation would be a bonus.
