If you don’t already know the current temporary towering system works like the GST system now. Top 3 guilds of the season gets a different unique hat for each guild.

The biggest problem of this system is that after 2 months of the season, towering dies and all towering guilds stops towering. Why? Because they already secured their #1 spot, #2 spot and #3 spot.
Another problem is lack of number of towers, this lack of number if towers causes a downgrade to the competition. Why? Because it’s only possible to home 3 towers right now since Mod is full of Pkers and nobody uses that tower as their home. The first week of the season is pretty competitive and all the towers are packed, however, once it settles down it will be only 3 guilds towering throughout the first 2 months of the season. More towers will increase the amount of guilds towering which will increase the competition.

Problem 3 nobody is using the two guilds alliance of 25 members since it was never mentioned anywhere if that’s allowed or not.

Problem 4 showing the towering hats AFTER the season begins. That’s like showing the GST hats a while after the registration opens. They should be shown few days before the new season begins, to let players decide if they want to make a towering guild or not and prepare for it before season begins. Because if you don’t know, that’s how GST teams work.

I can list more feedback but since its only a temporary system then it’s not worth working on it a lot instead of focussing on the NGS. If the NGS is going take a while to be finished, then in imo you should fix the problems above if you agree with me.
