- scam should be a reason to ban people.
- Yea like i said i know if they put the Trade Idea in game it'll "ruin" the Christmas Spirit. But this spirit is stained each time someone scam another person. And since the start of Gift Trading its getting worst and worst, even with Secret Santa.

I agree but like I said there's know way of staff knowing if someone was truly scammed or not. Sure maybe there are logs of who gifted who but other than that it's just word of mouth and the amount of false bans would be high. Also forgive my lack of knowledge but how is Secret Santa unsafe? You give it a gift and you get one in return. It feels as safe as gift exchanging in this game could ever be.
Imagine being a kid, farming weeks, months to be able to trade gifts, you made your own money and when you trade, someone scam you multiple times.

I've been the kid who spends a lot of time farming for gifts. I farmed over 120,000 gralats in less than a month on my first year back into this game just so I could gift my friends and I didn't get scammed when gifting other people because I used the Secret Santa stall.
The people who take advantage of others to get free gifts will never disappear. Even with a trading system they'll still scam unsuspecting children by talking their way through it. Those kids could easily avoid it by using the SS stall too. If they keep doing the exact same thing (trading with random people they don't know) and expect a different result (to not get scammed) then that's just crazy becase there's an alternative way to do it which is as far as I know, completely safe.
Thats why a trade option should be allowed, and if i remember correctly, even if its about giving and offering, in most of every family around the world, people trade gift between them. You dont wait for a gift, but usually when someone gift you, you have something for him.

Of course but that's different. Those families don't go up to eachother and say "I'll buy you 10 things if you buy me 10 things". They buy their loved ones gifts without expecting anything in return because that's what the holiday is about. There's no agreements made or scams that can happen because it's just families giving to eachother.
You also said it yourself. Keyword
"Families". Do you go up to random people you don't know in real life and ask them if they want to exchange gifts? Probably not and even if you did it would go two ways.
1) You exchange gifts and it goes well because offline you're not hiding behind a monitor and if any of the two parties scams the other then they can just go to the authorities and they'll sort it out so it's not worth even bothering trying.
2) They'll just decline the offer because they might think something is phishy.
I wouldn't really compare what happens in this game to situations in real life because unlike the latter, we're dealing with items that hold no actual real world value.
