I did not test it yet but what if you don´t want to have "Friends only PMs" enabled but you get a lot of messages? Let´s take a Staff account as an example. If they have "Friends only PMs" off so they can receive questions all the time but they don´t want them as a push notification aswell?
Maybe there could be something added like that you will just get push notifications from friends or something like that.
