One eye is fine for cyclops, or a head with an eyepatch or something. The "must have eyes" rule is most important for heads that would otherwise be inanimate objects. Take my flame head, for example - without eyes, it would just be a flame.

That head shouldn't have been denied for do not resubmit (assuming you submitted a finished version and not one with the template?). The jar could be considered a hat, seeing as we have a "head in a jar" hat:


Anyways, maybe turn that into a hat and submit it for Christmas?
