If everyone was warned ahead of time, that would defeat the purpose.
I think the upload discount is a good idea though. It was done in Era before. Maybe that is something that they will plan to do in the future.

The purpose, as outlined here, is to rip everyone off.
Additionally, if you had any clue, you would know that there has been a bi annual upload sale every year the last four years in classic.

If you could do better, rather than criticizing the staff and ousting yourself from the team, why not instead offer support and ideas to get onto the team and fix the problems that you see?

How about you read what people are posting (and have been for ages) instead of jumping on the keyboard, bud? Read the forum here. Myself and
many others have been giving suggestions for years regarding the submissions system and all the other broken features.
If it was a paid position as staff, I would certainly apply - I have experience as an ios/android project manager. As it is, there are not publicly available paid positions or postings that are made apparent.
In fact, come to think of it, I asked Snownoob like a week and a half ago if you guys would like some help with that train wreck of a profile/menu update in the form of a professional design document to build a proper menu, but got no response.
There's an immense wealth of talent and knowledge in the community that is just not taken advantage of.

No the idea I had was more so...

More or less, if you pay for one upload you then have space for one upload at all times, trading it in for another one if you like, with the token as a place holder.
