-graal 2009 and early 2010 guilds weren't released at all, so players ran around with clan tags in their name like call of duty. Most people ran around together pking other clans.
-Then Guilds were released (no allies) and shortly after, towers were released.
The top guild in towers for the first few weeks was this guild called (Pandemonium) followed by guilds like (Equinox) and (iBall).
-A lot of glitching took place in 2010 and there was this hacking tower guild that was pretty notorious in 2010 called (M4SS1V3 CH04S) lead by a guy named S1NN3R.
-Tower guilds manly kicked and recruited but without allies, it was very messy.
- Admin guilds became quiet cool to join. In the first two years of graal anything admin associated was cool, they were like celebrities back then. They would pop up in random places and draw crowds and do a hat give away. Admin hugs was another big thing, basically you would try to get an admin to hug you, screen shot it and post it as your guild picture ... lol
I don't remember which was released first but they released Allies and Houses (not guild houses, regular houses, around the same time)
-Allies in late 2010 caused towering to be less messy, no guilds reached 1,000 yet. AGK War Section was #1 with 400 hours prior to Allies, then when allies were released PULSE used the system to collect a hundred loyal members and they were the first towering guild to not kick and recruit as much. They eventually passed AGK War Section and were the first guild to 1,000 hours in 2011? (i think)
-Houses were the start of graal iclassic music videos , new glitches and house farming.
-Solo spar had a ton of boosters, Matt aka iPanda made spar fun though by giving away hats to sparrers who achieved these milestones - 6k, 10k, 20k. There was even a big race to 10k wins. Which most of the people who reached it noob boosted (which is ok, everyone sucked at spar back then and if you knew how to C spar, you were PRO)
2011
-Guilds started reaching 1000 hours, they were rewarded with a "Revolution" party in their honor with their own members only VIP room (only happened for the first dozen or so guilds) and were given a hat. Later in 2011 Venus Gospel took the place of PULSE as the best Tower guild.
- Guild sparring and solo sparring started building their own communities (prior to 2011 there were only a few recognized sparrers) . Guild sparrers sparred in swamp town- Max, Primetime, Killman + the "jap" sparrers , Fro, Guizmo + the frenchies, DoT (me Bobby Mamba, Shannon, Chai-t, Suicide, Mimi, Nike</3, Kentaro, jojo, jackson ect) and many more that i forget.
While the 1vs1 spar community had many skilled players in guilds such as Anubis, and SiB.
-Admins still were celebrities, Zanza became the biggest admin guild in 2011, were even given their own Guild house ON THE MAP that only players with a zanza/allied section could enter. (so was SNC but anyone could access their house and SNC was owned by a fake Kio Demigod, not the real Client KIO). Zanza had: Azraels tree house, where players in Zanza could enter behind the bar. The Zanza Base which had a fireplace, a fire pit under this cool moon light, their own spar arena, and a few other things. Joining Zanza meant u were cool lol. And many players who joined got hired as Graal Police, was somewhat corrupt but whatever was more interesting than what goes on in graal now (which is nothing but military role play guilds and lag)
-hat shops and honor points more and more hat shops./furniture shops started opening up and body shops and head shops, you could only upload personal shields/swords back then through email and it was for free. If you were tight friends with some GP u could get your own stuff uploaded to shops but thats about it. Every player was given one honor point to give someone, it was an awful idea. People just begged noobs at Ballamb to honor them, then used it in the Honor point shop for hats.
-Guild houses they released guild houses. not much to say about it.. glitches and ect
-Snow town yeah snowtown was released, was popular at the end of 2011. even had a ice spar.
Facebook server Either was start of 2012 or end of 2011 they released an unpopulated facebook server that was out for a few months that guilds used to get 1,000 hours for their guild hats. was garbage.
2012 Age of Spar 2012 was the best for the spar community. The staff released leaderboards for sparring and the spar community was at an all time high.
Client PC players came overtime, iphone 4 was released so idevice sparrers could spar more aggressively (playing graal on older iphones was slow af). GST was released and it was monthly , during that short period of time everyone in the spar community was online sparring everyday. The hype of the spar community VERY slowly died since they made GSTs seasonal. 2013-2014 were good years for sparring too but not as great as 2012. 2015-2016 sparring was still alive but not crazy active. 2017-2018 was the death of graal sparring.
TO be honest, my thoughts of the other things that went on in graal from 2012-2017 isn't that good because I only came online for spar since 2012. Didn't really leave the battle arena much since 2012.
Sorry If I'm not 100% accurate but this is from memory.
