Guilds are such a big part of Graal, and it feels like they're just dead right now. I can only think of a few guilds that have actually stuck together for a while (CD, NightOwls, etc.) but other than that there really isn't anything much to guilds anymore. I do agree that the tag restriction and removing tower awards literally years before the NGS is released was a very poor decision from a developing standpoint. Guilds were already pretty bland even when we had towering awards but now they're literally just chat rooms and it's kinda sad. Only guild stuff you can do anymore is GS which nobody does until GST, and towering which is no longer competitive. Social guilds are flourishing at the moment but even many of them are dying because players are quitting. I remember when players like Squiggles and Ryan would host events, giving something new to the game. When I asked why they stopped, they just say they feel like there's nothing for them to do on Graal anymore. The dying guild system is starting to affect many social guilds and now people who actually did something different for the game are disappearing.
