I don't see this happening as there is no way to balance this while making it fair for every single player.
- A 4 hour cooldown per player means they could still just hang out in the same area and continuously farm these things to obtain an absurd amount of loot.
- If there is a 4 hour cooldown for the entire server then it'll be unfair due to people being left out because they're not online at the right time plus it'll render the orbs of every other person useless.
- It'll create a lag hotspot due to all the looting animations of every player and them being in the same area.
- Being able to loot instantly is too overpowered in general, you could do this instead of getting the same amount of loot from normal looting in X amount of time.
So yeah, I don't really see how something like this would fit in the current meta of looting without it being overnerfed
(like everything else) to the point where it seems almost pointless.
