Nobody can know what will happen in the match, even in practise people freeze.
Itīs not black and white like you make it seem, GST is for competition and a match of 4v5 from beginning should not count, dont see why you have such a hard time understanding it

Because it happens to everyone it's not specific to you , alumni teams have members freeze before and they didn't complain they just dealt with it , how many times have I seen guilds subbing people out because one of their members lagged out / was lagging / disconnected. It's common practice
