Unixmad is owner of all servers. He doesn't decide what manager has to do or wants to do. (although he could - but he doesn't for any server - maybe just a price guideline earning/cost)
Majority of recent zone managers have said they've got free role in doing whatever.. So the downfall has nothing to do with unix. He manages Classic/Era/Ol they are all fine and do alright it's like if classic stopped there production- it has no part on unix.
Sure thing he isn't great because he doesn't get involved as such on making servers better but he never did, zone and players should stop passing blame on to someone who has never done anything in the first place so he's rather unlikely to do anything now and it's not like he knows how to do **** anyway that was never his role in graal. Time the actual management step up to the plate or leave and allow the millionth manager to come in maybe then you'll eventually get someone who has some knowledge of scripting etc and is productive.

Unixmad has been pretty heavily involved in the management of Zone ever since Tashkin left. Heavily involved compared to how he was, anyways. He's been the one making the executive decisions as to who is managing Zone and some of what Zone's content production must be. He hired the artist to make the new tileset. I think you'd be surprised how much control he has taken over Zone since he doesn't have a trusted manager that he can delegate everything to anymore after Tashkin left. Yes, the manager is still managing, but Unixmad knows what's going on with Zone.
