Huh? You just contradicted yourself. You said we need to kill them because of overpopulation, but you also said they are killed by other animals anyway?
Also, here is a question for you. What is your opinion on overpopulation of humans.
Edit-Something I forgot to mention in my previous post, I respect everyones views on being vegan/vegetarian, but I dislike it when someone tries to force their views onto someone else.

Animals kill us too. So do other humans.
Natural disasters and old age also kill both humans and animals.
Plants are find we don't need to reduce their population
(even though we pretty much are)
There is always China of course.
They are filled passed the brim with people.
