Why this is a problem:
This is problematic for new players. If we continue to allow a specific group of people who do not speak english to loiter at the very first place a new player sees when they download the game, they will be turned off and more than likely say "oh this is just another foreign MMO where nobody speaks english".

This isn't difficult. Just make it so that you can only see NPCs at Balamb, with the exception of the spar area or something(If that's a problem). Do you really need to help friends through an easy, short, skippable little tutorial where you learn the basic controls? Nah, if that's the reason not to make it NPCs only, that's a stretch. You can even invite them to your house straightaway if you want. If only English speaking NPCs are available at the start, then there won't be any alienation(It's the highest spoken second language by a large margin) towards potential new players. There, solved the thread, no need for all these pages of quality posts such as "jajajajaja", "this is why I hate Brazilians", and "this thread is racist!"
