The problem is they've been making these changes for the past few years, just not releasing them. Half of the "new" tileset was already made and finished years ago under Tashkin's management. Unixmad screwed over any chance at real updates by playing Manager Roulette for the past year and a half. Changing the layout of spring and using the "new" tileset (95% of which is shown in the new Spring picture was already made under Tashkin's management) is not a major update at all. In fact, it looks more like filler in order to stall for time while portraying the appearance that things are actually happening.
