While it sucks that we feel the need to have peaceful marches to spread the message of acceptance, I think that it was successful. While I did not go to one, several of my friends did and told me how cool it was that everyone got together and really did have a peaceful march. There was no rioting, and people of all ages went. Makes me feel better about the future of countries everywhere to see this sense of unity.
