Barely anyone spars anymore and its extremely rare to see more than 15 sparers in a room. This was obviously caused by the castle update.
It made a massive impact on sparring. The castle update was defiantly a great one however, the sparers went to do bounties and the castle quests. is sparring will stay like this? I really hope that sparring isn't ending up like towering.
I'm pretty sure sparers are happy of the new update because they are not forcing themselves to spar anymore. Only reason why sparring wasn't inactive because (my own opinion) there was nothing else to do in this game. Of course sparring changed a lot in the past few month and the reasons were: (my own opinion) an increase of speed hackers in the game, an increase of health sparers in the game, an increase of players that use vpn to cause extra delay and an increase of lagers.

I hope something new happens in the next few month that will change this inactivity in sparring to more of an active thing. Or at least they should decrease the rooms in the battle arena if admins are not planning to make any update in the future.

God forbid people branch out and explore other areas of the game!

But seriously though, if all goes well, the NGS should revive towers and spar.
