Seems like they gave your ios account admin rights and accidently blocked off your access at some point not knowing that it was your ios account.
They should be able to fix your account by just changing the permissions on it and you should still have whatever you had beforehand.
Can't know this for sure unless a higher admin/manager looks into it though.
(Just to clarify, it's the same message you get as when you try logging into your staff account from a new pc)
