They mentioned that Ash's bladestorm is being looked at still. It'll most likely require an entirely new skill if it doesn't want to be broken.
On the other hand, let's notice the reworks.
Volt is now
a legit alternative to gunplay. You could actually go through a large percentage of the level without firing your gun at all, and do just fine. A couple volts I ran with on a survival to try out the reworked frames loved it, even saying that it could be a little overpowered.
Imo it might just have to stay "overpowered" if they want Volt to be a god of lightning casting alternative.
Mag is
wonderful. I spent about an hour and a half in the simulacrum just messing around with different builds, fighting different enemy groupings, etc etc.
I ended up settling with the following build. (open the spoiler)
Spoiler
Switch out Energy Siphon w/ Corrosive Projection if you want.
Doesn't matter.
Magnetize is a bullet sponge that basically makes Mag a hallway hero if you tunnel in to it enough, and there's something sitting in it to take the damage.
Polarize (previously Shield Polarize) now effects shields
and armor, damaging shields and
completely stripping all armor from targets the Polarize passes through. I get the feeling that they might nerf that part a bit.
I love Mag now. I seriously can't get over how fun she is to play over her old iteration.
Shameless self promotion to show you Mag in action. Just open the spoiler.
