I believe you misread my post. How does it matter as it relates to whether illegal immigration is a problem or not whether illegal immigrants commit crimes or not? What matters is how many illegal immigrants we have. They can contribute to society, but they're still here illegally, which in itself is a problem. It doesn't matter if they commit crimes or not, they're here illegally and something needs to be dome about that. When you get more detailed, it definitely does matter if they commit crimes or not. Maybe ones that commit crimes would be deported while law-abiding ones become citizens. But in the grand scheme, crime doesn't matter when it comes to illegal immigration. The fact that they're here illegally is the problem as it pertains to that specific issue we've been discussing.
