You don't get advice on fishing from a fish. You speak to people who have experience in whatever you need advice on, other fishermen. I can't say this for certain but its likely Platinum isn't a male that is trying to entice the ladies. I am giving the advice that has succeed for me and many other men.

Platinum has a good point for how to behave if you are wanting to be strictly friends or you are already in a relationship with said person. Its a great bit of information but not practical for the desired outcome in this scenario.
