Lol it's not fair comparing those two scenes when you're effectively showing one of the climax scenes that is supposed to have much more smoother animation, compared to a exposition scene to showcase how Mumei fights.
Plus that scene wasn't even that impressive since a lot of it was still frames of them pulling out their blades and the aftermath of the slices. A better scene would be when Levi fights her.
For a much better Kabaneri fight scenes animation wise, the fight ontop of the railcars was better.
Plus the scenarios for each action scenes are different, one is gliding through the sky with the 3D gears while the other is a much more sluggish heavy steam engine terrain battles.
On another note, finally got around to watching Shinsekai Yori, and damn despite the slow start, the world is so fascinating, how could I have dropped this 4 years ago?

The point is, I was expecting more. Attack on Titan's animation was already good early on imo.
I was expecting something like slow-motion bullet shots, and do you remember the animation when Annie kicks Eren whilst in his Titan form in the face in the forest? Yeah, I was expecting animation like that.
I also didn't really like the train rooftop scene.
I was expecting a scene like that to be more like this: (I know it's a joke video lool)
In short, I expected more details. Like in AoT, during some scene, you can to see the swords in more details cutting the titan's flesh and stuff. That was really awesome.
Skip to like 4:31 if you want to see what I'm talking about
I wanted to see the details when Mumei kills the Kabaneri in the 2nd episode. Would have been badass.
This entire fight has all the details I wanted and was expecting in fights with Kabane.
I was also disappointed with the fight with the guy who has been an asshole to the Kabaneri until episode 4 lol.
Needs more beautiful camera angle and sword slashing sequences.
Attack on Titan episode 1 was already lit af.
