No, candidates get money from individual donations, and from wealthy businesses/businessmen. Not sure if any candidate has self-funded their own campaign before.

The only thing I like about Trump is his opinion on the transgender bathroom issues.

Haven't heard him speak on that. I assume he believes they should be able to use the bathroom of the gender they identify as? If so, I'd be glad, because I believe that too.
