saying why you did bad in the start = an excuse for why you did bad in the start, In my opinion you did bad because I crushed you in the beginning, not because you "didn't spar all day" so if your making excuses why you did bad in the start, fine, ill make the excuse that i was rushing because I got cocky and bored of your delay. Win or lose an excuse is an excuse.

People pmed me why I did bad at the start and that comment was explaining why I did. it wasn't even meant to be as an excuses of me losing the spars it was to answer the people who pmed me about it.
