The practice and common beliefs of most Islamic communities actively violate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and I actually believe a group declared their own Islamic Human Rights? I'll have to find the source.
But anyway, it's only natural that non-Islamic and Islamic groups will conflict as many values are not shared between them. Really, take ISIS and its extremist views on torture and the right to life, and then compare that with most western nations today. It's clear there's a huge between difference between them.
