Thanks you two, appreciate it <3
update-- I was super exhausted today, but didn't want to sleep without doing at least one study. Sooo, I did a quick lighting study on Finn, from Star Wars VII (aka didn't focus or attempt proper skin texture or coloring). Hmmm now that I look at it, I need to go back and make it darker... oh well, too sleepy right now.
I want to make a gender-bent version of him as well, so that's in the works. (As much as I love Finn tho, I'm still a hardcore Reylo shipper. Idek why-- it just feels so right.)

The edit:
I outlined the original artwork and to see if I can edit it to help you! idk why but I really wanna help you with the face placement, and emoutione.
here's are what I fixed: - After outlining your artwork (tracing it) I used free deform tool to fix some areas which looks a bit in the wrong place with the basic head shape itself.
- And the eyebrow looks like it's naturally like that, so I added some stress marks (the wrinkles) you see when you make the face.
- I didn't paint it all so I just lightly shaded the things which needs to be shaded, not really important.
- And also with the head shape itself, I drawn the top a bit more flat rather than round, since the person you're drawing has a flat top on the head? Don't know what word to use but you get the point.
- and also if you shade the eyes like that it would look like he has makeup.
- And also the arm in the picture is fairly near to the neck so I added the arm mark? I don't know what word to use again.
- and the ear isn't that round for the person, so I fixed it by making it like the person's ear.
Overall your artwork is great ^_^ (it's always great. )
